Activity cancellation

• Cancellation counting:
  • The number of occurrences between the start date of a contract period and the date of the cancellation where the date of the cancellation is before or on the end date of a contract period
  • The cancellation count is incremented in the order of activity dates
  • Where the canceled activity is a “Session” type
  • Canceled activities are counted distinctly for each “Service assignment” (Service assignment Dependent)
  • The activity was canceled by the “Client”
• Fee assessment:
  • Cancellation fees are calculated based on contract information provided within the PASS system when:
    1. The activity was canceled by the “Client”
    2. An “Action” item has been selected stating: Apply cancellation fee, …
    3. The canceled activity is a “Session” type
• Clinical assessments must be re-scheduled during the cancellation process otherwise, the service assignment must be terminated
• Counselling sessions may be re-scheduled during the cancellation process or dropped outright. In case of the later, replacement counselling sessions may be added to the service assignment as replacements
  Dropped counselling sessions remain part of the cancellation count
